The electorate is pissed off at both parties and politicians in general. It could go either way.

I think it's more likely than not that this will be a republican wave election. it appears that the electorate is more pissed off at dems. Part of that, I believe, is that voters are generally unhappy and are simply voting for the party they see as not in power.

Among Democrats and Independents there's a lot of "What's the Use?" feeling.
But, it's a volatile election. I think a lot of people will be making their minds up at the last second and vote on impulse.
I hope both of us are wrong.

Other than that, elections are like juries, you just never know for sure what the verdict is going to be.
