In the Beloit Daily News (Oct 30th 2014) the Lead headline is "Walker up & in final poll".
The website for the BDN has other headlines from the main page , but not the lead story. It is credited to a Prairie Du Sac AP byline.
It claims that support for Ms. Burke has plunged due to the statement of former Trek president Tom Albers that Ms. Burke was fired from her job for incompetence. A charge denied by both Ms. Burke herself and the current head of Trek Bicycle Co (Tom Burke, which implies collusion those who look for conspiracies).

Previous polls which found both M.s Burke and Walker tied were cited by name. I could not find a source for the poll results used as the headline of today's paper.
Any clues?
