yes, I'm talking to you. You are going to fail.
I don't know what you will fail at, that's one of my MANY personnel failures, but I do know it's going to happen. You'll return a library book late, leave the rent check on the desk at home, lose/not have important paperwork, or have family/loved ones who are troubled. And once you've failed, anything that happens to you is your own fault.
Let's face, the rest of us can't be expected to deal with the problems of this world just because your a failure right?

He should have gotten a job with better benefits.
They should have keep a closer eye on their children.
It's easier to just go "oh well, personnel respondable..." then to work on the problem.
And god damn to we like easy.

(34,845 posts)Not only is it easy to get lost in the crowd, it's easier to say all those things you mentioned. We don't see the occasional tragedy as having the proportional affect on the community as it once did.

(17,796 posts)and the increasing disconnect within our communities plays a part also. I can still list my neighbors from back in the 70's, but not a single one from the present. And I sure I'm not the only one.
But those, and other, reasons can't be used as excuses for our lack of action.
Not growling at you, just frustrated.

Maybe it's something in our genes. Something in the air, in the water. Who knows?
What it always comes down to, though, is this: HAPPY HALLOWEEN! (Instead of worrying about stuff, try to relax. Maybe we try too hard, hm?)

It's always nice to talk to people, but how does that make it a success?

Add the response to this post, I though the last two sentences make it plain what I was thinking. Oh well, chalk up another fail.
