It's hard to believe even our Beltway types would think those emails were going to help. Who do YOU think is to blame?

(71,265 posts)I will say that I would love to know what they will do to me if i didn't vote.

I don't think even THEY imagine people like being threatened, but one or more of them must have decided that Republican-style scare tactics are a good idea, and came up with this thoroughly bone-headed and counterproductive way of implementing such.
And no, it wasn't a false-flag operation, unless Republicans have successfully planted moles into the top leadership of the Democratic Party. (Although, now that the notion crosses my mind, it WOULD explain a lot about the way the moronic Dems have been running this campaign
.)
If the Dems DIDN'T do this, they should have already gotten out ahead to deny it & announce a bunch of lawsuits.

(22,875 posts)and I read the article they printed.. I did not see any threats in that article.. so if someone could please print for me the letters that have been threatening, so I can understand what the heck people are talking about..

(50,254 posts)I think a lot more of us will vote this year than in 2010. The question is...will that be enough?

(36,392 posts)It's probably a waste of time sending doom e-mails and posting screeds at DU. Everyone on the mailing lists and at DU is already going to vote. One downside of the computer age. In days of yore they at least had to pay a nominal fee for each plea. Now it's free.

(94,541 posts)Let's be honest: campaign managers are general PAID to be smart about what sells to disaffected, low information voters. Political activists and bloggers probably respond to something else.

(543 posts)All of them trying to induce guilt. They can't believe the way I've let them down, the dems will go down in flames and it's all my fault because I haven't donated. It's not working - I don't feel guilty, just surprise that they don't mind alienating me.

(44,121 posts)Not Dems trying to raise money to fight the fucking sewage being poured onto Dems in those Koch/Rove lie ads.
On edit: I'm out of money too, but I can knock doors and GOTV.
