I wonder. I will be surprised, of course, if that happens, but I wonder if it will.

(37,748 posts)Probably not, however I'm rather certain that one or two self-absorbed individuals will lament that they were not thanked with enough ebullience by a bored-looking poll workers.

(146,345 posts)are always smiling and welcome every person who comes in to vote. We've had the same poll workers for years.

(30,481 posts)Yet I will go to the polling place with joy. I will be super kind to the volunteers as they are great each election where I go. I will wear my "I Voted" sticker all day.
PS: I also get to bring a 27 yo fist time voter to the polls. Very excited about that. I thought I had them ready to vote for the dem in the governors race. Not too sure anymore. They would never vote for the repub. We still have some amendments on the ballot and she will vote the same way I am on them.

(146,345 posts)Republicans on the ballot. Voting for the Democrats on the ballot is my revenge against the GOP.
Aerows
(39,961 posts)there are some less than savory Democrats, but they are STILL light years ahead of even the least batshit crazy Republicans.
True Blue Door
(2,969 posts)It's also pretty ludicrous when someone doesn't participate in primaries and then criticizes the Democratic Party for not being liberal enough.
Some folks just don't see the connection between their own actions and their circumstances.

(3,535 posts)Some will want their displeasure with the party known, and if thhe party gets an ass whooping then they will likely want to tell others here why they didn't vote. Besides what is going to happen to them if they do....someone going to go after them and hunt them down, or write a really mean post?
