(14,449 posts)First time eva that I voted for a person who was a full fledged Republican just two years ago. Can't believe the Democtratic party voters chose this guy. He was a horrible Governor his first time. I still voted for him with my nose safely held tight.

(14,255 posts)The ads for Scott on TV are disgusting lies. Plus I feel like if I put on a pair of "They Live"" sunglasses, Scott would turn out to actually BE an alien. He is so robotic with his lies and efforts to look like a person who "cares".

(99,710 posts)Charlies's not perfect. He seems to be the type of fella who agrees with the last person he talked to. However, Rick Scott reminds me of the guy who forecloses on granny...

(45,251 posts)I don't have a lot of use for people who switch parties when their own party doesn't want them any more or for some other reason related to personal ambition. Doesn't matter if it''s switching from Democratic to Republican, as Spector did early in his career, or switching from Republican to Democratic, as Spector did at the end of his career. That just tells me they put personal ambition above all else. I would not trust them. I think many people feel that way.
However, I have never voted in Florida and am obsessed with this race, too. If I were able to vote in Florida, I would have run to the polls to vote for Crist, despite all my misgivings about switchers.
