Possible shenanigans...possible accident... at my polling location...(Harris County, TX)

We vote with the eSlate machines, and I'm taking into account that the person was elderly, confused, etc.

I went to vote at about 10:30. The polling place was relatively empty. I processed through, showed my ID, signed the binder and got my numbered receipt. The man told me took pick a booth.

I took a booth and looked at the screen. On eSlates, you turn the dial to enter the number on your receipt. The screen on this machine was scrolled all the way forward to the "Cast Ballot" screen. To cast ballot, you hit the big red button. I scrolled all the way back to the beginning (through a straight Republican ticket and a no vote on Prop 1).

I alerted the poll worker, he sent me to another booth and began investigating. When I left, they were attempting to track down the person who had voted before me although his number registered as having been used with a completed cast ballot.
