Resources for DU "Cable Cutters" to Watch Current Election Results Online with Interactive Maps

I've used CNN's Interaction Election Map since 2000 for getting current results from my County and State for Senate/House Election Results. The Map used to post Running Tally of Updates for Races all over the USA. CNN now has a special site where this is available and here's snip of article and link for Internet or Mobile Phone. If anyone else has Additional Resources...please add in the Thread. and FINGERS CROSSED for DEMS Tonight!

CNN ELECTION COVERAGE:

Ahead of Tuesday night's election coverage, CNN is making available for desktop and mobile users the same do-it-yourself voting data that network correspondent John King always looks like he’s having so much fun with.

CNN’s "My Magic Wall," created in partnership with Microsoft and described first to POLITICO, allows users to zoom in down to the county level for House, Senate and gubernatorial election results and make comparisons with data back to 2006. Key demographic information can also be studied just like King does in 3D, allowing users to get a sense how the campaigns are doing with black and Hispanic populations, senior citizens and against local unemployment rates.

“You can check my math,” King says at the end of a CNN promotional video for the new DIY site.]

Per usual, King will also be using the “CNN Magic Wall" to keep viewers up to speed on the latest results. CNN anchors Wolf Blitzer and Anderson Cooper will headline the network’s coverage.[/b

INTERACTIVE ELECTION MAP--Non MSM:

I don't know who runs this site but it looks like it would have pretty much what CNN does. I see Larry Sabato listed. He's with the UVA Center for Politics which is supposed to be non-partisan so maybe UVA sponsors it.

They said "We've been covering Ebola and ISIS but those issues aren't appearing on exit polling. But we know those are still at the top of Americans' minds."

Cable news fu***** stinks.

Usually I'd watch TYT but Cenk promoted the apathy last night and said this election is unimportant. Not pleased with him right now.

Where to watch

http://talkingpointsmemo.com/edblog/so-where-to-watch

A few thoughts to make sense of the evening ...

I think we've got relative confidence of the outcomes of the most of the races. For Dems, New Hampshire and North Carolina. For the GOP, Kentucky, Arkansas and (alas) Colorado. I'm not saying these are certain. Just we've got a pretty good idea what's probably going to happen.

A key point is that even if the GOP eventually wins, it's unlikely that either Louisiana or Georgia will be decided tonight. Louisiana, extremely unlikely and Georgia, fairly unlikely.

Given the time difference, we won't know about Alaska this evening. And the key there is that polling much less reliable in Alaska than in other states. Neither party has a great deal of confidence that they know what's really going on in the state. And all seem to agree that Begich has the stronger ground operation. All that said, Sullivan has had a small but fairly consistent lead. Alaska remains a wildcard just because there's less confidence on both sides in the polls.

That leaves us with two races that really seem too close to call and where the all the attention is likely to be: Iowa and Kansas.

for Analysis for the LEFT VIEW.

If anyone is interested. She's doing Election Updates as the Discussion Panel proceeds.

This is better for my sanity than CNN. I hope the other site from UVA worked out for folks, too! If you couldn't stand the early election from CNN with the "Same Old Crowd" (which is interesting but gets Tiresome for us older ones who've been through this for too many years) ..... I'm with Democracy Now....for Now....

I don't have cable, so I don't have the 24/7 news feeds. This will be great, and I will bookmark for future elections.
