(11,417 posts)she likes election night as if it doesn't matter who wins or loses. Sometimes I think when they have enough money for them it really doesn't matter.

(6,714 posts)Seriously, she never has anything positive to say. She was the same way before 2012.

(16,399 posts)She thinks this is fun!
It is NOT FUN. The assholes are on the verge of taking over!

(20,450 posts)about how this affects the average American. As long as they get those paychecks. I'll never watch again after tonight, really.
ProudToBeBlueInRhody
(16,399 posts)She should be sitting there like the Hindenberg is about to crash. Because the American people are that fucking stupid and she thinks this is a party for political geeks.

(20,450 posts)Was this reply meant for me?
ProudToBeBlueInRhody
(16,399 posts)I don't see that from her. She's ready to have a party like this is fun.
I think this is going to be a horrible night for America. Sorry. I don't need her cheerleading how awesome our flawed election system is that the Republican party is going to be handed back the keys to the car tonight. She's excited for the horserace. By 11PM, I bet she won't be.

(20,450 posts)fun, not as if she's depressed by it. Oh no! In fact my biggest criticism of Rachel Madfow is that she is often unnecessarily and annoyingly silly and cooky
I just had a long conversation with someone else here on DU about how I find her awkward silliness annoying and how she's seldom prepared to fight Republicans on these Sunday morning shows. Too nice and timid!

(16,399 posts)By the time she's announcing "Joni Ernst is the new senator from Iowa" I hope she fucking retires from the business.

(7,596 posts)I'll get all my news from here. Fuck the media. They're practically drooling at the Democrats' defeat.

I just don't like Chuck Todd and Andrea Mitchell having so much airtime and reverand Al barely gets to talk.

(16,380 posts)I can barely do a regular night with the endless bloviating and the "Well I think..."
It's not good for me, so I shall check in tomorrow and hope that we did better then all of the yammering fools (I do like Rachel but she really censors when around Tweety etc.) seem to think we will.
I have like 13 episodes to catch up on with "The Walking Dead". Apt really.

(5,693 posts)For months they've been giddily awaiting this day. Hell, they started prognosticating the Senate going republican in 2014 the day after the 2012 election.
Unfortunately, it is anything BUT a game to millions of people in this country.
