Congress' approval rating is 12. Perhaps that is why turnout is so high

I'm seeing lots of threads about high turnout. Could be what drove this election wasn't Obama's supposed low approval rating, but Congress'.

have done nothing to make Congress look anything other than completely corrupt and incompetant. Maybe some people noticed and got pissed.

thus will be voting Republican to spite the non-functioning government only to actually enable the non-functioning part of the government. These aren't uneducated people either. Many Republican voters are well educated they just inflict stupidity upon themselves.
