Congress' approval rating is 12. Perhaps that is why turnout is so high

I'm seeing lots of threads about high turnout. Could be what drove this election wasn't Obama's supposed low approval rating, but Congress'.








Did I punctuate that correctly?

1. Even though repukes have just the house they are the face of congress so high turnout

for that reason is good!

2. Yertle and the OrangeMan (a/k/a Captain Bourbonator)

have done nothing to make Congress look anything other than completely corrupt and incompetant. Maybe some people noticed and got pissed.

3. The problem is many voters assume the party in power is the president's party

thus will be voting Republican to spite the non-functioning government only to actually enable the non-functioning part of the government. These aren't uneducated people either. Many Republican voters are well educated they just inflict stupidity upon themselves.
