Turnout was good this morning in my heavily democratic area of Washtenaw-Wayne. Don't give up hope yet.

He blazes into office, immediately does all the shitty things and then by the time it;s re-election time, most have forgotten all about what he did right off the bat. This is how they operate.. We always wring our hands with angst over just when the right time is to do something, and of course that time rarely comes around, or we end up doing it too close to the next election.

People were furious at him over the "manager" issue, but that was now a LONG time ago, and things are calmer now, so why not re-elect him.. We shall soon see his next "fabulous" idea, ans people will be up in arms about how unexpected it is.

Seems early - only 12% in, and typically the Detroit area results come in later.

so no surprise there. They're really living up to the "Freep" part of their name.
