Democrats have problems with statewide races there, which was kind of concealed for years because of the Senate delegation.

The incompetents in the party here managed to find a guy who spent years driving around without a valid driver's license and was rousted in the middle of the night in a parking lot with a woman other than his wife. Not surprisingly, he got utterly slaughtered, and took all of the downballot Dems with him.

In fact, it's probably one of the most conservative of the swing states.

I really don't get how she managed to get the nomination. Yes I get that it would be a good thing to have a woman governor here, but she's a completely uninspiring candidate as best I can tell.

Can we get rid of the leadership of the party. This is more urgent as they are completely incompetent.

Coakley stood alone. No Dem leadership to back her up or GOTV for her. Out of staters came to campaign for her. Mass. legislature is a sexist good old boy outfit, make no mistake. They'd rather suffer Charlie Baker than have to listen to a girl.

She actually did very well, considering that the ads attacking her were constantly on TV. I am done giving money to the national Democratic organization. Sorry.

She attended tons of debates and never said campaigning was not important.

She may not be the greatest campaigner, but MA has an history of electing Republican governors, particularly when the opponent is a woman, and in both cases, the party leadership took us for granted (coming to campaign when you intend to run for president next year is not the same as actually investing in the race).
