Studying that for the next several hours could be therapeutic, take my mind off the reality of the elections.

What is cool about visuals like this, is normally we are taught history by looking at one group of people at a time.
Everyone knows about the Greeks, the Romans, and the various eras,we learn that in a linear date mode, but we are not taught what the Chinese or
Egyptians or Hindus are doing, specifically, at that same time period.

I was NEVER taught this, for example" Iranian civilization probably antedates Sumerian's and Egyptians."
(says map, on the 1800 BC line)

The other thing is more obvious....civilizations come and go. And often because of Mother Nature.
