Guest Lineups For The Sunday News Shows

WASHINGTON — The political realignment in Washington after Tuesday's midterms will be analyzed on the Sunday talk shows by President Obama and several new and returning members of Congress.

Obama's Oval Office interview with CBS Face the Nation host Bob Schieffer will focus on his relationship with the new Senate GOP majority as well as the fight against Islamic State militants in Iraq and Syria.

The 2016 presidential election is also on the agenda, in a CBS interview with former president George W. Bush and an NBC Meet the Press appearance by Wisconsin GOP Gov. Scott Walker.

Four House freshman will sit with three Capitol Hill veterans on CNN's State of the Union to discuss the chances for bipartisan cooperation. And two Republican House members elected to the Senate on Tuesday, Shelley Moore Capito of West Virginia and Cory Gardner of Colorado, talk partisan gridlock on Fox News Sunday.

Not sure how much more post-election analysis I can take, but I do plan to watch the President on FTN. I hope he gets a chance to talk about other issues.

I can't imagine why Cantor is on MTP. Maybe he will talk about how it feels to be just about the only republican who lost this year.
