dug out her double album i've had for many years, "The Best of Buffy Sainte-Marie". So many good songs, another one of my favorites on that album is "My Country 'Tis of Thy people You're Dying". Quite an admirable singer from back in the day. Joan Baez and so many more.

I didn't know that. I was really surprised. It's one of those songs I've heard a million times but never listened to the lyrics. After listening to it a few times I listened to some of her other songs and thought "Universal Soldier" would make a good post for Veterans Day.
