American Workers Mad About Wage Stagnation Elect The Cause Of That Stagnation.

It is obvious that the GOP is responsible for wage stagnation. They are against unions, the living wage, the minimum wage, equal pay, etc. Yet the voters voted them in because their wages are actually going down. Trickle down economics does not work, but the GOP is solidly behind it

Nothing makes sense anymore in this deranged country. If anything the GOP is going to suppress wages and give a lot more to the 1%. Reality is stranger than fiction.

it. It is a total WTF, just endless. Americans love those that totally screw them over again and again with proven track records. Sometimes it's just so bad I wonder why I even give a damn. But, that is what they want.

is completely bewildering to me in this last election but with only 36.6% of eligible voters showing up I suppose I shouldn't be bewildered but I still am.

The right wing all over the world has learned that priming people and using their base animal instinct is the only way they can get common people to vote for the interest of the wealthy and powerful. The smarter someone is the more logic they will use in decision making, unfortunately this will likely never be the majority in any country with large populations.

If liberals want to win in America we are going to have to do a better job at using primal fears, relying on logic, intellect and memory is a losing battle when it comes to anything complex for the average American like science, economics or sociology. Its not pretty and to most of us on this board we will roll our eyes, but most Americans are not like us, they just don't know very much about politics and the history of economic structures or how the rest of the world does with these structures and how they can work here for the better.

I find the idea appalling to scare people into what is best for them or the country, but the other side does nothing but this and it is why they are competitive when they are basically the F U if you are not wealthy party. Another thing the Right does is no matter how crazy their members get they don't apologize for it, we could learn a lot by not backing down on anything, most of our candidates ran from Obama, huge blunder on a human level.
