Why not have the Dems just change their name??

who could come up with a better term or name then the Democratic party?? If they change the name to something that appeals to those who don't vote, may-be that would help?? Like when the Whig party died....why not the Democratic party?? Or is this just way out of the question?

come up with some names that appropriately describe many current party leaders. I'll think on that.

The neo-liberal tent party?

The centrists?

The corporatists?

The corporate mongers?

The compromisers?

The Bus Bullies?

The cowards?

The empire makers?

The pragmatists?

The Third March?

The friends of Republicans?

but I think Michael Collins hit the nail on the head with "the Money party" - which applies to most of the leaders in Congress right now.

Communist Party USA seems to be doing the work the dems used to do - working with the unions, registering folks, etc - but that name isn't going to be a winner either.

The Republican party has moved so far to the right it is unrecognizable and has morphed into the Tea Party.

The Democratic party has moved so far to the right that it morphed in the Republican party.

There is little representation for Democratic, Socialists, or Green Party citizens in the U.S..
