Mormon church will now allow women w young kids and divorced women to teach at seminaries

The Church of Christ of Latter-Day Saints will now allow mothers with children at home and women who have been divorced to be instructors at its seminaries.

Previously, Mormon women lost their jobs when their first child arrived and divorcees were prohibited from working as teachers in church institutions.

The reversals were announced Friday, according to The Salt Lake Tribune.
