What changes have you seen in the media since the election?

For six years, we have seen Republicans abuse our electoral system, even to the point of shutting down our government. The media never assigned blame to the Republicans. They played the old "fair and balanced" game.

But, since this most recent election, their reporting consists of comments and quotes from Republicans about how the people want them to work together to get things done, but the President "appears to want a fight". He is waving a red flag at a bull or he is playing with matches.

The media goes out of their way to report about how Republicans want to stop the obstruction of the last 6 years and finally get things back to "normal". The only person standing in the way is the obstinate President.

This is the bullshit they are shoveling out. It's enough to gag a maggot. There is no word to describe how much they suck. They are the enemy of the American people. The sooner Democrats understand that, the better it will be for all of us.

1. I don't watch any, but from what I've read here, no change in at least

14 or more years (back to Dubya) - Sunday shows continue to be GOP front loaded, and nearly all media, TV, print are tilted toward their corporate masters.

Sadly, I haven't expected anything different in many years. Unless the fundamental driving the coverage changes toward evenness/fairness (and - gasp! - actual truth), all media is simply a tool to ensure that the "correct" folks are in charge as much as possible.

Skeptic or cynic, you decide - but it is where I am.
