Chuck Todd today in West Palm Beach

WEST PALM BEACH —

The American political system is broke because of partisan bickering and needs to be “disrupted” the way Ross Perot did in 1992, NBC political reporter Chuck Todd said today.

“Politics badly needs to be disrupted,’’ Todd told about 900 people today at the Palm Beach County Convention Center.

“More and more people are realizing they can’t rely on Washington to do anything anymore. That is not a good place to be.’’

Speaking to a Forum Club of the Palm Beaches luncheon, Todd said Washington would be better off if politicians acted like neighbors.

Took a peek at the Forum Club of the Palm Beaches and, what do you know, they have a pic of Romney, a big pic of Romney on their main page and a smaller one of Tom Ridge on the side.

Todd is certainly among friends there.
