Disrupter of Muslim prayer at National Cathedral: God and Drudge sent me

http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2014/11/disrupter-of-muslim-prayer-at-national-cathedral-god-and-drudge-sent-me/

The woman who disrupted the first ever Muslim prayer service conducted at the National Cathedral claims she was sent to protest the ceremony by God after reading about it on the Drudge Report.

In an interview with World Net Daily, Christine Weick, 50, said she read about the event on Drudge and became enraged, saying, “My blood began to boil as I read the comments of how this is to be such a wonderful event and how religious tolerance can, for the first time, be shown in our nation’s capital.”

Friday’s prayer service was just beginning when Weick stood up and began walking towards the front of the cathedral shouting.

“Jesus Christ died on that cross. He is the reason we are to worship only Him. Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior,” she said. “We have built …allowed you your mosques in this country. Why don’t you worship in your mosques and leave our churches alone? We are a country founded on Christian principles.”

Meet Muslim prayer protester Christine Weick, who is also an anti-gay demonstrator and probably the Satanic Monster Energy drink lady

Christine Weick, a 50-year-old Christian author who lives out of her car, disrupted a Muslim prayer service at the National Cathedral on Friday, November 14th (watch the video here), yelling, “Jesus Christ died on that cross over there! He is the reason why we are to worship only him! Jesus Christ is our Lord and savior! We have built enough of your mosques in this country!”

Weick also looks a lot like the woman in the Satanic Monster Energy drink video, which went viral last week (it has 6,745,660 views on YouTube to date). ThatGuyBlev, who shot the video of the woman talking about the demonic beverage in Tennessee, agrees that she looks like Weick. Weick says she travelled from Tennessee to Washington, D.C. to stage her protest against the Muslim prayer service.

It also turns out that Weick made the news this past May, when she got a Slushie thrown at her on Mother’s Day because she was holding a sign that read, “Thank your mom today for not being gay!”

For her latest outburst at the National Cathedral, Weick is being heralded as a hero by the conservative site WorldNetDaily and many of its readers. If Christians and right wingers want to make Weick their new figurehead, that’s totally fine by me!

Weick gave her first interview since her recent anti-Muslim protest to WND, where she reveals even more, um … interesting details about her life. I wonder where she’ll show up next?

From the link:

After being ejected, Weick said she got into her SUV and began the 400-mile trip back to Tennessee where she says she lives in her car after being disowned by her family because she took a stand against same-sex marriage and other “moral issues.” According to Weick, her husband divorced her last year “over a spiritual conflict.”
