Bill O'Reilly Hangs Up on ESPN Host After Questions About Olbermann, Controversies (Video)

Ask Bill O'Reilly about Keith Olbermann and past controversies he's ashamed of, and you'll get dial tone.

That's the lesson ESPN host Dan Le Batard learned Monday while interviewing the Fox News host about his new book “Killing Patton.”

“I never comment on smear merchants,” O'Reilly answered a question about Olbermann claiming he never was a football punter on his college football team.

The conversation then veered off course as Le Batard asked if O'Reilly's ever done anything he's ashamed of in his career. O'Reilly answered no, conceding he's made some mistakes, but nothing to hold his head down about. Le Batard prodded O'Reilly some more about controversies he's dealt with, and that was O'Reilly's last straw.

“I'm not going to get into any of that stuff, so if you guys have another question, I'm good, if not, we'll say goodbye,” O'Reilly answered. Le Batard asked him why he wouldn't answer.

Dan gave him plenty of time to talk about his next "Killing" book. He asked him the one question about Olbermann and then lied again about being on the NFL team at his school. He's a charlatan and Dan was extremely nice to him. He hung up on Dan after he was asked a simple question. Dan did stoke the fire a little by playing "Do it Live!" rant of O'Reilly's after he hung up. Classic Dan by the way!

Then over three minutes later on a whole different conversation he hung up saying he didn't want to get into "controversies"-

Joy told Howard STERN that when she and Whoopie walked out on O'LOOFAH, he doesn't give a s**t and made that clear backstage.

Repeating (for years) : O'LOOFAH is a 1950s White male, repressed, in the deepest denial, lack of insight into himself, verbally and emotionally abusive (we don't have proof of physical abuse), and The "Right" Man (must constantly be "right" though he's clearly not). He will never get over that he flunked out at the real networks and has made it his mark that he features guests with the similar flaming out in the top venues: Bernard GOLDBERG, Dennis MILLER, BecKKK, whassiname ex-comedy-partner-of-KIMMEL, on and on.

What, his approving audience is in their '70s? Or is that number Faux's general demographic.
