The base of our economy are the middle and working classes and the working poor

And the uber rich have been chipping away at that base for as long as anyone can remember.

But when that base crumbles in on itself, what does the rich think will happen to everyone above that base?

Or are they not thinking at all?

They should but they don't. They never think about anyone else except as objects of exploitation, contempt and fear. That's the problem.

Important post because it's so crucial to solidify our base of Employees (self employed, unemployed, retired). We are an employee nation with a threadbare safety net. Some make the mistake of trying to rally 'workers' or 'labor.' Might as well try to rally the 'proletariat' because no one relates to those ancient terms. We are a nation of Employees, and there would be no stopping that coiled energy.

The uber rich are 'multinational'. Some of them may live in the US, but they exploit the poor worldwide, and will be able to continue to do so as long as there are enough countries with weak labour and environmental laws, enough places where they are mistakenly identified as 'job creators' rather than 'wealth extractors'.
