Is DU growing quieter?

LBN seems nearly dormant. Very few new posts and very few responses.

General Discussion seems to be suffering a malaise, too.

And it seems like no one has the attention span to read anything longer than four paragraphs.

Or is it just me?

1. Post - midterm election hangover
2. Pre - Presidential election lull
3. Hillary supporters and other party moderates have been made to feel very unwelcome
4. Mixed feelings about President Obama

I think as the new Congress get's rolling, the us-against-them unity that was here in Bush years will return.

Sadly, I think it was bound to happen. DU was "born" at an unusual political time and grew to maturity as an illegitimate president attacked two different parts of the world.

As awful as the political landscape may be now .... the tumult has quieted, as has DU.

(Noting many of us are as outraged and continue to come to DU for the information and commiseration .... but the mass participation appears to be gone)
