The obsequious sliminess of McConnell

There are a obviously million of extremely important politically relevant reasons that the reelection of Yertle the Turtle was a disaster for Kentucky and the country,

but I can't get past this one insignificant but tortuous consequence of his reelection:

I HAVE TO HEAR HIS MORONOTONE VOICE ON THE TV

OVER and OVER and OVER

I'm sitting here at my computer trying to grade papers while I have the news on in the next room

If I hear one ,more time about the when the peoples representatives come to Washington
I am going to throw up all over my keyboard!

For as much as he has been sickening many of us for years, he will soon be joined by my erstwhile alleged congressman who managed to teaparty Mark Udall out of the senate. When your guy was announced as the "winner" I posted to my facebook page that I would henceforth not utter his name, that he would be known only as "Ipecac." The name for Udall's successor will remain unshared here, but only because I want to retain posting privileges.

The yuck is huge right now.

I swear I never thought that could happen, but to listen to him every day is enough to make me ponder suicide.
