Campain against Jon Stewart Begins...

Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.....

This is just the beginning. Over the next several weeks, we will contact every major Catholic, Protestant, Jewish, Mormon and Muslim leader and organization in the nation; they will be sent the picture, along with Stewart’s remarks. We will contact Viacom (which owns Comedy Central, home to “The Daily Show”) making sure that all board members and senior management know about Stewart’s anti-Christian and grossly misogynist attack. We will take out ads in newspapers, etc. We are not going away.

Blah, blah, blah...

What a bunch of dips.

Bill Donohue does look like he could be America's oldest 'mother's basement' resident.

Can't you just see him in the light of a 50 watt bulb organizing his boycott on his ten year old Dell with dial-up internet?

When Jon said "vagina manger," a picture of a nude lady appeared beside him. The breasts were covered by the woman's arms, or just weren't in the picture, but the genital area was covered with a tiny little nativity scene photoshopped in. Jon mentioned that he had not seen that picture before the broadcast, but he continued forward, and later the nativity scene was replaced with a Vote GOP button.

It was one of those "I can't believe I'm actually seeing this" kind of things. Not that I was offended at all! But I'm not surprised that William "Professional Bug-Up-My-Ass Spokesperson" Donohoe has gone ballistic over it. I'll bet that what Jon was expecting was a picture of a lady with pants on AND with a nativity scene covering the crotch area.

Should they apologize? No. It's fun to watch that vein in Donohoe's forehead throb.

ETA: The picture is in post #14.

Their call to boycott JCPenney because they chose Ellen DeGeneres as their spokeswoman not only increased Penney's profits, Ellen's ratings went up. I only wish the grocery stores here had the guts to ignore these idiots' threats over the sale of Schweddy Balls ice cream.

around the private parts of both males and females whether anti-contraception, trans vaginal wands, anti-gay, the not-married fornicators, etc. One might say a bit OCD. And they DO NOT think anything about sex is funny. Dirty and smutty and behind the barn or pics stuffed under a mattress, ok, yes. But having some fun, nope.

That being said I did see it and it was a bit beyond the pale even for Jon. And they did leave it up quite a long time.

Good luck, Jon.

Bill Donohue, President of the Catholic League (divorced, by the way...) is also a adjunct scholar at (drum roll please) the Heritage Foundation and is on the board of directors of the National Association of Scholars, an organization opposed to multiculturalism and affirmative action, and dedicated to countering "liberal bias" in the media. major funding for the NAS comes from the Sarah Scaife Foundation, which the Center for American Progress indicates has funded groups and individuals which contribute to anti-Islamic hysteria in the United States.

In 2010 Donohue appeared on Larry King Live, where he blamed church's child sex abuse scandal on gay priests, and has had an extensive history of blaming the victim in gay bullying cases.

So yeah- this is the guy who's out to get Jon Stewart. I wouldn't be at all surprised if the Heritage Foundation promised him a nice big donation if he can get Stewart off the air...

good by attacking someone for telling the truth. In the end their people know what is happening and leave. I did and found a church that was as liberal as I am. The Nuns are correct in their protests.
