Inquirer reported in October that the faculty union at Lincoln took a vote of no confidence in Jennings, citing enrollment and fundraising declines, as well as staff turnover. The university's alumni association voted similarly about five months prior, the Inquirer said.
During a September graduation ceremony speech (which is now posted on YouTube), Jennings apparently described three women from the university, "who after having done whatever they did with the young men, and then it didn't turn out the way they wanted it to turn out," faultily accused men of rape.
"When you allege that somebody did something of that nature to you
their whole life changes overnight," he said.
"Why am I saying all this, ladies?" he continued. "I'm saying this because, first and foremost, don't put yourself in a situation, that would cause you to be trying to explain something that really needs no explanation had you not put yourself in that situation."
