Romney and his party can grovel all they want, but it doesn't cover up the trans-vaginal probes, the attacks on birth control and those who advocate for it, or the fact that they are doing everything to see that women make even less than the $0.78 for every dollar a man makes.

A real rout of the Republicans and conservadems is the best thing that could happen this cycle.

Personal question: With the stunning lack of support among women (minorities, Teh Gay, people over 60, people under 24, animal lovers, the 99%) do you also find it suspicious that the pollsters have Romney only six points behind Obama?

the older voters are going to come back to the democrats if this democratic congress and Obama really get on the bad parts of the Ryan Budget like they did last year. He has to paint that Ryan budget with Romney who thinks the budget is "marvelous" as he states. He needs to play that clip over and over.

They lose the women and Latinos this cycle and still win. Because of this strategy they keep the whites, especially males. They make things so that no minority wants to vote or is intimidated to do so. Whatever drives down the vote in comparison to white males' number. They win this time, but then what? Minorities are heavily Democratic, as are women. The more the demographics change, the more the repubs with have to 1) pray, 2) change their message to represent their constituents (you know, like a democratic republic is supposed to work). So eventually if they wish to get elected they have to follow those whom they represent--you know, that whole Constitution thing. This means trouble for the anti-women, anti-immigration constituency. So now we just have fiscal conservatives. Fine. They're harmless, quaint actually.

If the Catholics can ever get the Latinos on board with voting against pro-Choice candidates and against gay marriage, they may have something. But they'll have to totally retool their economic and immigration policies/rhetoric in the meantime. But if they do this, they risk a clear third-party insurgence. So dems.just need to stay pat. The madness will consume itself.
