Go Eat A Dog

by Clay Jones

In 1995 Obama published his autobiography “Dreams Of My Father” and in chapter two he describes his step father feeding him dog, snake and crickets in Indonesia.

In light of Mitt Romney, in his 40′s, strapping his dog to the roof of his car and driving him to Canada, Republican operatives are talking about how Obama eating a dog is a worser offense. I’d agree…if he chose to do that in the United States as an adult. If the sole purpose of acquiring a very expensive dog, First Dog Bo, just so he can fatten him up for a state dinner…yeah, I’d talk about how inhumane Obama is.

But the thing is, Obama was a kid in another country with a culture unlike ours. There’s a lot of countries where people dine on dogs. It’s veiwed very differently than it is here. It’s not something I support but I understand that not every culture is like ours. People in some nations think we’re inhumane for eating cows. Obama didn’t slaughter the dog, prep it and serve it. It was given to him by an adult. If anything, it’s gotta be a lot healthier than an American hot dog where the contents are a mystery (but delicious).

Of course nobody believes Obama is still eating dogs and has plans to dine on many more in the future. No, wait. I just read a few right wing web sites and apparently they all believe he’s still eating dogs.

Now do we want to have a serious debate with people who take 17 years to get to chapter two of a book?

to turn the tables on the repugs who are hyping this story. First of all, it keeps the Seamus story alive - an incredibly cruel deed performed by an ostensible 'adult' - and it practically begs for inclusion of the story about one of RawMoney's handlers who drunkenly butchered and grilled a dog - also as an ostensible 'adult.'

Romney was an adult, with kids. Supposed to set an example.

If Romney had the opportunity to keep a company from relocating to India due to their worship of cows, would he stop the relocation?
