Crime is down in Dayton, Ohio by 25% since 2010...

This is what I am hearing on the local news tonight (Channel 2, WDTN).

The police chief is taking all the credit for the reduction in crime, indicating it was better policing, etc. Maybe he should notice that the unemployment rate has dropped by nearly 50% since 2010. Unemployment is one of the biggest drivers in unemployment. No one seems to comment on who was POTUS during the increase in the employment rate and the overall improvement of the economy since 2009.

BTW, I no longer live in Maryland and am not referring to Dayton, MD.

A nephew is on the force maybe in Oakwood or Kettering, not sure.

Hope y'all are doing well. Snow around here, but NOT in southern MD, just rain.

We almost moved to a place in Oakwood that was being rented out by a retired cop from Oakwood. Our daughter liked the school in Kettering better than the one in Oakwood, so that is where we ended up.

Glad to hear you are not getting hit too hard by the storm. Have a happy Thanksgiving.
