summary of testimony...
He had his gun drawn and its down to his side
(When you see him running is he firing the weapon at that time?) No, he couldnt He didnt start, I didnt see him fire, didnt hear the gunshots until later
The officer ran, he was running after him. He had stopped, I heard him say get down about two or three times
"he was aiming the gun at him, he was telling him to get down"
then he started running and thats when I heard him shoot
He was running pretty much in our direction, the officer was pretty much between us and Michael
I didnt hear him (Michael) say anything. He was trying to run. He was running and he had his hands down in like a running stance.
"I thought he was trying to charge him at first because the only thing I kept saying is he crazy?. Why dont he just stop instead of running because if somebody is pulling a gun on you, first thing I would think is to drop down on the ground and try not to look like Im going to attack em but that is my opinion."
He looked like he could have been attacking him or the officer could have felt like he was attacking him.
"I didn't know if he was trying to come towards the officer or if he was just trying to run past him"
He threw his hands up when he stopped. He kind of like threw his hands up and he turned around and he kind of put his hands down and he was like shuffling. He didnt have his arms up while he was shuffling, he was just shuffling back and forth.
He told him before he shot him to get down again, and Michael started running. Thats when I started hearing the gunshots.
I didnt hear any of the gunshots until he started running
(OK. When he started running toward the officer) Uh-Huh

(about two car lengths?) yeah
we actually sat in the van and watched him run down the street and then he turned around and came back toward the officer
the officer hopped out of his cruiser and chased him down canfield. They got like right about here and then Michael turned around and charged toward the officer and the police officer drew his gun and he was like stop, stop, stop and he shot him
he did not fire at Michael while he was running from him
(okay. So when did you see the officers gun?) I seen the officers gun when Michael turned around and was charging at him
(so he didnt pull his gun out of the holster until Michael Brown started to charge him?) Charge him, right
I heard him yell stop at least three times
(he did not have his gun out as he was yelling stop?) No
and starts to run towards the officer and the officer drew his gun and he pointed it at him and he was like stop, stop, stop. And he was going in reverse, like backing up (the officer backing up?) yes
and he was charging towards the officer with his hands drawn up like this in a fist running towards him
He was like stop. He was backing up, he was like stop and he didnt, so he shot him three times
he looked like he was going to raise his hands at one point, but he didnt. He just continued to run forward. It looked like he thought about it then he didnt.
I mean hes like running then he like stopped, he put his hands up like this and then he kind of brought them back down and started running (thats when he charged towards the officer?) He was running already
(any idea of how many shots you heard total?) at least eight or nine (you heard two at the car then) I heard three and then like four more shots, maybe like one or two more after that. (and all these were when Michael Brown was charging the officer?) Yes

(7,759 posts)sort of lunged forward as he was going down to the ground. The forensics seem to suggest this.

(832 posts)Look at the diagram of the crime scene I posted. Evidence markers 19 and 20 show blood stains in the street and indicate that Michael Brown stopped, reversed course and advanced back towards Darren Wilson...which is what these two witnesses stated.
