I pulled up to a pump behind a new Ford F-250 pickup at the gas station recently. The truck, with dealer temp tags still on it, was already festooned with every ultra-right bumper-sticker known to man (pro-gun, anti-Obama, anti-liberul, etc), with a big Gadsden flag sticker in the middle of the back window.
The white male driver, in his 60s, was standing outside his truck pumping gas. He had on a yellow Gadsden flag t-shirt, and he was puffing away at a cigarette as he pumped gas, NO SMOKING signs notwithstanding! This is the mentality we are dealing with here folks: "I don't need no stinking gubermint rules."
I discreetly pressed the "CALL ATTENDANT" button, told the employee that there was a guy at pump 8 smoking & pumping. Then I drove off without buying gas there. I did not want to witness the gasoline fumes blow-up in that beta-minus moron's face. He was probably OK, probably does it all the time and gets by with it. But he was also, more-than-likely, murderously pissed off when the attendant came out and waved the Bull Shit flag on his action.
