Good grief your Honor! We most likely have more experience here in Florida, as compared to

the to the rest of the country, because we deal with so many of these kinds of cases/crimes..
(my paraphrase of what the Zimmerman bond hearing judge said from the bench)

Really Florida? Is that a fact to be proud of? Does someone else besides me think Florida needs to figure out why?...

He was essentially saying the following: in the "UCF Corridor" (i.e., the areas around the University of Central Florida), they've seen hundreds of these cases where students being busted by the Underage Drunk cops engage undercovers. these are routine, and Zimmerman's seems milder than most. That seems to have been the gist of it. He was disputing the prosecutor's claim that Zimmerman has some extensive violent history by suggesting that Zimmerman's criminal history is in fact very minor. The reason for the "we have a lot of experience" part of it was to suggest to outsiders that he was deciding based on knowledge they couldn't possibly have.

milder..........but I think I better not play amateur at this stuff without knowing the conventions of the state.
