New York Daily News hacked?

If you go to the page it says "hacked by Syrian Electronic Army" and shows some ISIS type emblem.

Basically, they bought an ad. When the ad is displayed, it puts up a popup.

So no, the NY Daily News was not hacked.

The "hack" consists of changing their ad content from the 'approved' ad to the 'hacked' popup in some cases, and some DNS hijacking in others. To call this a "hack" is giving way too much credit.

Pro-Caliphate guys like Al Qaeda, Al Nusra, ISIS etc. usually have a black flag.
