Police arrest 16 outside Ferguson police station; 15 from outside area

I wonder how much impact outsiders had on the unraveling of peaceful conditions.

On Saturday morning, St. Louis County Police revised the total arrests from 15 to 16, and included a breakdown of where the protesters were from. Of the 16 arrested, nine were from New York; three from the Chicago area; two from California; one from Iowa and one from Berkeley in suburban St. Loius

Irrelevant in this case since it was a peaceful protest and all captured on stream. Live and Learn Nov 2014 #3

Many of the arrested were women. Anyone watching the streams can attest that there was no violence.

I understand your point and agree that some outsiders have been responsible for a few incidents in Ferguson as have the police themselves. The people of Ferguson have been remarkably restrained and quite active day in and day out.

But I believe many of the outsiders are there to peacefully support the cause too.

I think that's true. Counting the outsiders serves to illuminate the potential dame some have done and it also shows that support is coming from a lot of areas.
