Morning Joe vilifies Tamir Rice

Last edited Thu Dec 4, 2014, 02:04 PM - Edit history (1)

He may not have said it directly but any justification for the cold blooded murder of this child, vilifies Tamir Rice.

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2014/12/01/1348631/-Joe-Scarborough-has-a-Lecture-for-Black-America

I know that immediately after the murder, the story was the cops told Tamir to drop the weapon. It was after the video was found it was changed to, "told him to put his hands up." So this poor child goes to do what he is told. He goes to pull his toy gun from his waist or pocket, and before he even has a chance, 1.5 seconds from the time these idiot cops pull up, he is shot. He might not have died if they then did the human, decent thing and gave any first aid. But no, they stand around.

I honestly believe that much more vilification of this child, and these cops are exonerated, there will be much more than peaceful protests.

As to Moron Joe and the comments about Mike Brown, he is either lying or has not read all the grand jury testimony. Another vilification of the victim and excuses for inept cops. Had any police procedure been followed, Mike Brown would be alive. If any common sense had been used, Mike Brown would be alive.

He also doesn't understand the meaning behind "Hands up, don't shoot." Here's a great video that explains it.

How Ferguson showed us the truth about police:

Ya know, I knew that would be a problem. Guess I was too pissed at the moment to look for a better source. Thank you for pointing it out.

I've watched the video several times and that's what it looks like to me. He was putting his toy away so the police would find him non-threatening.

Since he was told to drop the "weapon" makes sense.

But you can tell this poor kid has no clue what is about to happen to him. And whatever Tamir was doing, the police reaction is beyond despicable.
