Right wing hands up insult

Yesterday my husband who works for a union airline was teased by two ulta right wingers at work. My husband is white but an unabashed liberal was standing next to his black foreman, these two right winger he works with (one a very ethnic looking dark Mexican) passed my husband and the black man with their hands up saying " hands up don't shoot". My husband turned to his black foreman and said "ignorance has no boundaries".

I told my husband he should tell the black foreman to file a complaint against the right wingers for insulting him. But my husband said "no it's best to just ignore the fools". If it happened to me I'd be calling HR immediately to complain.
