Even if wages were to be raised to $15 and hour business and industry will find a way to steal some of it back with impunity. Deregulation and budget cuts have left few labor law informers on the job. And many labor laws have been watered down. What we are seeing are the end results of the Reagan Revolution and GOP control. Now voters have given them the keys to the kingdom so to speak by putting the GOP in control of Congress.

The greed will never end. The lame duck Congress might be bad enough. But wait until next year and you will see assaults on workers like never before and the GOP will blame blacks, hispanics, other minorities and "takers" for the greed.

Today workers have fewer protections than 100 years ago. Virtually all labor gains have been erased now. And it will take a labor revolt to get anything back.
