GOP and 1% laughing at rubes who support them.

In 2010 the Tea Party came into existence largely as a reaction to the bail out of the banks. Disregarding the fact that the hated TARP was a creation of the Bush administration, the Tea Partiers provided the muscle and enthusiasm that gave the Republicans their majority in the House of Representatives. In 2012 and 2014 the GOP again relied heavily on Tea Party organizations in Congressional races. Today Republican leaders showed how much disdain they have for their own foot soldiers and how they are still in the thrall of the big banks. Derivatives were at the center of the meltdown of the global financial system. The use of tax payer money to save the miscreants financial asses enraged the American public. So what are the Tea Party favorites jamming through with the budget bill under threat of again shutting down the government. A bill written by a Citi Bank Lobbyist that will put you and me on the hook once again if the derivatives they are being allowed to offer out of federally insured banks was slipped in to the budget bill in the middle of the night with no debate and little scrutiny. I wonder when Americans grasp that the GOP and the 1% are laughing all the way to their hedge funds, banks and foreign tax havens knowing that you and I will pick up the tab once again if they choose wrong at the finance casino.

This is what happens when you make a deal to be president. A deal where you never look back.
