If the Corporatists had wanted us to go into Iraq, they would have made it so whoever was in the White House would have had no choice.

a sort of solemn resolve. (I imagine MLK, Jr. must have likewise somehow transcended his completely justifiable anger at the treatment of his fellow African Americans at some point to reach that same point of solemn resolve.)

So it is with Bush's torture regime (and with the recent extra-judicial executions in Ferguson and New York City). I do not know for certain where this solemn resolve may lead me eventually, but I am so far beyond being 'pissed off' that I cannot answer your question the way I think you intended it.

I hope that makes sense. I can't say it makes total sense to me, but it's where my head's at today.

I have reached that point, not sure how long ago. I still have moments of anger and disgust but I have to limit the amount of time I spend in that "place".

is exactly what enabled Bush*/Cheney to establish their torture program in the name of counterterrorism. They both piss me off.
