Open Carry activist who rallied at Target and other businesses arrested for double murder

So the people who feared these idiots had good reason for that fear....

Dunnachie has been active in the Open Carry movement. Specifically, she was one of the gun activists in the open carry rallies in Target stores earlier this year. Fellow Open Carry activists have expressed both sadness and other emotions on Facebook.

And so another of America's many patriots goes from good person with a gun to bad person with a gun in a single moment. None of us, after so many repetitions of the same "American obsessed with guns and using those guns ends up murdering someone" news reports, are that surprised.

For all we know her husband gave her guns to satisfy his own sick fetish.

Maybe she had enough of his and his adult daughter's sick perversions and was defending herself. I refuse to bash this woman until I know what led up to her doing this.

According to the news, she no longer lived at that house. She moved out in October and filed for divorce.

She went to the house with a gun and shot and killed her husband and stepdaughter. Then drove herself to a mental hospital.

That doesn't sound like self-defense.

Glad you're here! Stunning. But your point is well-taken. I'm seldom surprised by these stories anymore. Many of those "MY gun rights trump any-and-all of your rights" just seem to be little more than homicides waiting to happen.

The paranoia these gun nuts have runs their lives. They whip each other into a frenzy with their conspiracy bullshit and irrational fear of losing their precious guns. It doesn't take much to make them pull out those guns. Most are itching to use them on a real person. They will tell you with pride about how they hope an intruder/the government gives them a reason to stand their ground.

Their trigger finger is justa itchin'. What bothers me the most is a few people I met where their "right" to possess a gun is far and away the thing they care about the most. Why are they so terrified of being unarmed? One has to wonder. Is it really that hard to live without a gun under your jacket, or stuffed down your pants, just waiting to fall out and go off.....

More than one poster (as well as yours truly) have already decried OCT's action for
being the assholish thing that it was.

HOWEVER

Since real life is not some Manichean game, OCT bringing the stupid does not in any
way make MDA authentically grassroots
