Mexico: Woman drugs husband, cuts him up with chainsaw, and then scatters parts around Mexico City

Maria Alejandra Lafuente Caso, 40, allegedly drugged hubby Allan Carrera Cuellar, 41, before using a chainsaw to chop his body into pieces before stuffing them into bin bags.

She is then accused of hiding his body parts in various locations across Mexico City.

Mr Cuellar's severed head was found in a children's playground.

Caso, who claims to have been beaten by her abusive husband, reportedly used his phone to send texts to friends to convince them he was still alive.

A police spokesman said: "Before the body parts were found she convinced everyone that he was alive and well by sending text messages.

And a psychologist. Apparently she didn't do a good enough crazy act:

"She then tried to have herself sectioned using her knowledge of mental illness as a psychologist so she wouldn't have to stand trial for his murder.

"But we had a doctor carry out tests and she is of perfectly sane mind."

me. These kinds of stories always seem to have that tabloid-esque appeal.

Obviously, I realize she's most likely guilty of murder, or at least manslaughter, plus abuse of a corpse. But I have to admit that her picture caught my eye.

What did Captain Neslund say when the Chavez it the bridge?
Oh, no! My wife will kill me!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/West_Seattle_Bridge_collision

The ship's pilot, Rolf Neslund, was forced into retirement because of the accident. He was likely too old to be piloting tugs, and also had a drinking problem. He transferred his pension money to his wife, Ruth, fearing he would lose it in a lawsuit. He later discovered that Ruth had spent all of his pension money. Police believe that in an argument over the pension money, Ruth shot and killed her husband on August 8, 1980. Afterwards, police believe that Ruth and her brother chopped up his body and burnt his remains at their home on Lopez Island. The body was never found - however, with no sign of Rolf, Ruth was charged in 1983 for the murder and stood trial in 1985. Ruth died in prison of natural causes in 1993.[2]

The proposed high span West Seattle Bridge, which had previously lost funding, had a new source of funding in federal bridge replacement funds. The federal funding allowed the new bridge to be constructed, opening in 1984.[3]

The psychologist is now facing life in prison.

Hello, Mexico licensing board ? My super-long-distance-Dr.-Fristian-guess is, at the bare minimum, she has strong psychopathic traits, if not a full-blown psychopath/sociopath. Again, only a guess. She has to be examined in person by a competent professional.

Very scary.
