No rain, the reservoirs low, grass the color of straw, with brown patches.. this is something we have been needing for a while...

and are seeing a rather normal rain pattern as the Great Flood.

You've been sending us your leftovers here in the high desert, which wouldn't be a problem except that when it rains, or especially when it snows, my DSL gets funky.

Three big downpours: 8am, 10am, and noon. I'm convinced we experienced more rain this morning that what fell during that "mother of all storms" last week.

My beans and carrots are enjoying this, and what with this 'Oregon sunshine' between downpours, I regret not getting my potatoes in.
