Somewhere in the great beyond, Helen Thomas is fist-bumping Ann Richards

and yelling, "Suck on that, Dubya!!!"

President Obama called on women reporters for all eight questions at his press conference, and twitter flips out.

"President Obama began this afternoon's press conference with a joke about having a naughty and nice list from his press secretary, detailing which reporters he would take questions from today. As it turns out, that list was all women.

Obama took eight questions on everything from the Sony hacks to tax reform to Cuba, and in each case made what appeared to be a deliberate effort to listen to female voices."

My favorite tweet: This press conference brought to you by Male Tears."

No evidence, but I think she'll be giving him a big smile this evening.

I think Obama is having some fun sticking it to the Chuck Todd's of the media by picking all women. Loving this~

But I won't ask anybody to click through.

Instead here are the two pics I posted.

First, Helen with JFK.

Then, when DU sent her a whole lot of flowers.

I remember them both.
