Ah, life in the leafy suburbs.....

http://7online.com/news/man-terrorizes-neighborhood-with-hostile-holiday-display/444199/

-snip-
Mention "Christmas display" and most people envision a jolly scene with lights, a few reindeer and maybe an inflatable snowman. But for the residents of Fairley Road in Ross Township, Pennsylvania, it means a beheaded choir and a light up urinating Santa Claus -- the anti-Christmas nightmare displayed by one of their neighbors.

it's quite festive. And it ranks pretty high in walkability, with tons of good stuff around.

To each his or her own, eh?

Then there's political comment by snowmen

Or merely perverse mischief:

Or... dun, dun, DUNNNN, snow sharks:

And, be careful what one wishes for:

Happy holidays to you all!

Plus, some Calvin inspiration:

Of course, one could always opt for the somewhat more festive holiday marshmallow and cookie media Calvin Snowman horror:

YUMMY!

He got angry and has been running this display ever since. And then the neighborhood is trying to use the police and town to harass him, which is probably just feeding it. Here's a thought - Apologize. Defuse the situation.

Somehow I don't think that's in the cards. All he had to do was turn down the lights and instead they got this passive-aggressive 24/7 acting out extravaganza.
