Amy Thompson was prepared to move to Omaha if she couldn't find her dog.
Thats how much her 4-year-old tan German shepherd-Australian dingo mix, Bella, means to her. Bella helps keep Thompsons anxiety in check and could be on her way to becoming a certified therapy dog.
When Bella darted off from a friends house on Dec. 12, 500 miles from Thompson's Denver home, she began a tireless search, one she had no plans of giving up, even if it meant staying in Omaha.
Thanks to about 30 kindhearted volunteers, she doesn't have to stay.
