-snip-
Stevens said she did not realize that she was in for serious pain, discomfort in her legs and digestive problems after the surgery on Aug. 10, 2011. She said she felt pressured to return to work Sept. 6, before she was ready even while her boss was still recovering at home. When Stevens went home sick three days after her return, she said, Brucia actually called her from home to berate her.
She . . . said, What are you doing? Why arent you at work? I told her I didnt feel good, Stevens told The Post. She said, You cant come and go as you please. People are going to think youre getting special treatment.
After Brucia returned to work, shed yell at Stevens in front of co-workers over alleged mistakes, Stevens said.
Stevens said that her office and overtime were eventually taken away and that she was demoted to a dealership 50 miles from her home in a high-crime neighborhood that co-workers jokingly called Siberia. Experiencing mental anguish, she consulted a psychiatrist. and her lawyers wrote a letter to the company after which Stevens was quickly fired, the papers state.
Brucia did not return phone calls from The Post. She was spotted outside her Babylon home Friday getting into a limo with plastic cups and what appeared to be a bottle of pink champagne.

(19,339 posts)for the boss. This is fucked up all around. The boss is seriously an asshole, but offering to donate a kidney to your boss is just asking for trouble down the line.

So actually, she saved two lives.
I hope the man who received the kidney is more appreciative than this rotten witch is.

(26,069 posts)1. Very inappropriate to ask an employee to be an organ donor,
2. The woman wasn't a good donor, but if she donated to someone who she matched with, her boss would get moved way up the donor list.
3. After her kidney was removed, the woman started harassing her and mocking her and then transferred her -- because why? Was she mad she didn't get a kidney yet, or what?
4. The employee also had complications from the surgery which left her with permanent nerve damage and pain.
5. When the employee filed a formal complaint about all of this, including a demotion, she was fired a week later. Which was really stupid of her employer to do.
