(25,183 posts)Jebbie doesn't have a shot of getting past the Tea Party in the primaries and caucuses. He's too out of their mainstream on immigration, and even if Rubio doesn't run, he won't have enough support to get anywhere near a first ballot victory.
I really think that 2016 is going to be the first year in a very long time that the GOP convention will not have a known nominee when the opening gavel comes down. It's possible to run a campaign on a shoestring with the Internet, and I think that we're going to have a lot of hanger-oners still clinging to their delegates as they cruise into convention time.
Compare their disorder, and the eventual backroom dealings that will produce a nominee with what our side will do, is just hand the nomination to Hillary without any bruising fight.

(1,917 posts)he let his son Neil(sp?) steal $100Ms from us(Silverado scandal), * stole $Billions from us and he was the dumb one.
What did the people get back from that 'investment'?
Like Carlin said: we're getting it in the ass. The BFEE is the biggest group of thieves that ever existed, IMHO.

Means we are screwed. There was no way on 2007 that anyone on earth would think a Bush could show his face publicly. I did though. Because Obama like turncoat Bill Clinton excused them. It angers me to no end. That family is vile and evil. Last week Obama said not only are the Bushes close personal friends but they are very good people. This wasn't political niceties towards other elite politicians that you run into like some fools on DU would claim and defend. They are in deep. Either Obama is afraid of them, weakly complacent or there is a quid pro quo of some kind I would hate to guess. Is this still political poker or 3-D chess? That would be nice but hard to swallow given that he is setting the stage for the Bushes to return to power as they have been since 1980 by lauding them publicly and excusing their wrongdoing. The Bushes aren't just an wealthy, elitist powerful family. It's revolting and embarrassing for a democracy. And Clinton is contributing. I'm beginning to actually dislike her quite a bit and pray daily Warren will run. She knows what's going on. Democrats could run on Anti-Nepotism but because she cares nothing about our party and only about herself she is willing to run and take that advantage away from us. Trust me it was decided a decade ago Jeb and The Syndicate would be in power in 2016 and Hillary would be the Wall St back-up in their pocket. They are both sickening me and a Bush/Clinton election again would neutralize all real hope for change. Count on the younger, smarter generation not even showing up. Both those families should go back from whence they came. Bill is called Bush Sr's 5th son for a reason...he covered up his crimes. Obama did the same for his demon seed son. And they will keep it up to allow Jeb. Anyone here who doesn't actively fight this isn't only a fool but burying their head in the sand for allowing this situation. I'm sorry for being so harsh. I do recall Bill Clinton threatening Jerry Brown during the PBS Roundtable Primary Debates in 1992 and it sure was a sign of what was to come.

(81,539 posts)They're the midwives and wet (dream) nurses of the Iraq War. They envisioned this nightmare scenario of America's "destiny" of perpetual world dominance and our "divine right" to remake the Middle East to ensure the "sanctity" of our polluting, marauding, imperialist, culture/vampire capitolist way of life.
That alone is enough for me never to vote for him even if he's the last candidate on earth.
