The roller coaster is about to plunge dramatically to the right.

With the whole US Congress and nearly half of the US States completely controlled by Republicans we are about to see a massive attempt to push the country off the right side of the track.

Congress will probably be pushing bushels of right wing pie in the sky laws onto Obama's desk where he can veto them but the red states will be free to rewrite their laws to create ideologically pure conservative heavens.
The greedy .01% and the religiously insane will be dancing in the streets.

Not a lot we're going to be able to do about it.
It might be best just to sit back and let them do their thing unopposed, because by 2016 there could be enough hell here on earth to convince voters to back away from the right side precipice.

It's going to be an interesting 2 years.
Frustrating, but interesting.

It is possible to break things badly enough that they can never be repaired, and the Republicans are more than up to the task.

But never fear! The vehicle we have used to carry our rights (and perspectives) in all these many decades was built back in the late-1700s. It is well past time for an upgrade. No more patches and amendments this time. We must start anew with a New Declaration that requires citizens to have a pulse in order to be considered a person and enter into contracts. In other words: ''If there's a war and you can't bleed?, you're not a person.''

And, as with the original revolution that brought us our old declarations, a clean break is also now required. None of this waiting until 2016 bullcrap. It'll be destroyed by then anyhow for sure with Republicans running things. But then so will a lot of other things be destroyed.

The one thing you can count on with Republicans, is that in their usual arrogance, stupidity and pomposity they are likely to hasten things along -- at first. And then just as hastily try to reverse everything and try to stop what's happening once they realize they'll be the ones blamed for it since they won Congress. Remember? They don't know how to govern. No one ever showed them. But no matter, no one can stop ''The Devolution.''

The Great Unwinding of the Trillions, some call it.

The Great Day of The Derivatives, by others.

- I just call it: The Day When We Ran Out Of Zeros......

As always. The scheem is this.

1) the Republican party takes power and drags everything they can to the right. The democratic party, in the spirit of bipartisanship, works with htem on these projects. Since the american people largely oppose these policies, the Republicans lose in the next cycle.

2) The Democrats come into power, and wipe the slate clean. What's past is past, time to look forward! The rightward drag of the previous years is not reversed, it's simply declared the "normal," and the Republicans stillget to make policy due to Democrarts never pushing for anything agaisnt their resistance.

3) Since the Democrats show themselves weak at governing on the one hand, and utterly unwilling ot follow their base on the other, Republicans get to take office, where they once again start dragging us towards the right. The democrats, in the itnerest of bipartisanship, try to help them as best they can.

Rinse, repeat.
