Get Jarrid his tip money! NORTH DARTMOUTH, MACommunity & Neighbors
If you go and watch this video, you will see Jarrid was just doing his job delivering a pizza. The guys at the used car lot decided it would be funny to give Jarrid, a hard-working pizza delivery person, a hard time. After being paid and clarifying the remainder was a tip, Jarrid went on his way. Then after he left, the car lot called the manager at the pizza shop and made Jarrid go return what he was told was a tip. I believe Jarrid should be rewarded for dealing with such crappy people. Please watch the video and donate. Even if it is $1, it will make up (maybe a little) for him having to deal with idiots like this.

Thank you,
Amanda

I hope he uses this money wisely and the dealership learns that they need to change drastically or close shop..

Good for him he received such public support, but there are plenty of other people on gofundme with far more compelling stories.

Sorry he had to put up with bullshit clients (who hasn't?) and sadder still the jerks posted video of his humiliation, but I find it hard to in turn overcompensate him for his trouble, not while there are other, far needier people in the world.

The car dealership is toast. Their reputation is shattered; one employee's been fired; the rest will lose their jobs soon enough when the place closes. That, and restitution of his original tip (and maybe a little more) would suffice in my mind as proper karmic retribution.

sometimes people do this because 1) this guy is working hard and we know he makes shit, and 2) to stick it to the assholes. It is more a statement than anything else.

of whom have at one point or another found themselves in similar situation of being at the mercy of assholes and powerless to fight back. So you could see the profusion of $7 donations as expressions of proletariat solidarity or of empathy. It's been pretty moving watching the events transpire. (This Jerrid fellow has a family and is very soft-spoken and gentle, which makes the story all the more compelling.)

FWIW, the gofundme account was not set up by Jerrid or by his spouse but instead by an acquaintance who recognized a wrong and took it upon herself to right it.

Not the guy in blue, Michael Ramos, who used profanity when he threatened Jarrid's job.
